Hello and happy weekend!!
We're still winding down from the Chambre de Sucre x Eileen Fisher soirée to launch the exclusive 9th St. Blend...what a wonderful evening. It was a complete honor to work with the team at Eileen Fisher to create this blend for their 30th anniversary.
There's much to share, but let's start with the food ^-^
David of Davey's Ice Cream created Tea Time, an ice cream infused with our tea blend. He also mixed in crushed butter cookies (with sprinkles o_O) into the ice cream. Most amazing. Thank you, David!! He has a limited edition batch of the ice cream available by the scoop in his shop...make sure to visit.
Christina and Simon of Macaron Parlour infused our tea into a white chocolate ganache for The Eileen, a special macaron we served only at the event.
And Chizuko of Sake Discoveries provided two types of sake to make the evening extra decadent.
We catered savory dishes from SakaMai, a mix of shishito peppers, vegetable rolls...
...ocean trout temari sushi, chicken nanban, and...
...uni and wagyu beef rolls. Ridiculously good...we'll have to recreate these at home.
And of course we served the 9th St. Blend! We also had our Mon Frère and Chocolat et Fraise available for everyone's drinking pleasure.
Stay turned for our next post...we're taking a closer look at the 9th St. Blend itself.
P.S. Don't forget to stop by Eileen Fisher at 314 E 9th Street - it's the only place where you can purchase the 9th St. Blend in gorgeous tins designed by D. Yee. The shop is also stocking our Mon Frère and Chocolat et Fraise ^-^
