FNO this year was absolutely spectacular and of course, did not disappoint. There was plenty of fashion, music and cocktails, but there was also a lot of gorgeous bits to nibble on everywhere we went.
I invited my mom, future mother-in-law and Nella, a good family friend, to spend a night out for good old fashioned fun and frivolity.
Michael Kors had a fab DJ and champagne...
Mulberry had a refreshing sparkling elderflower water and golden balloons in the shape of handbags!
Burberry had the loveliest hor d'oeuvres and they, too, had elderflower sparkling water with a twist of lime.
Diesel had spakling wine and a super friendly DJ!
Elie Tahari, one of mom's all time favorite designers, had the best cocktails of the evening and lots of gorgeous mini bites to eat.
White Cosmopolitans and sparkling wine...
Super mini bagels with lox!
Pigs in a super flaky blanket with a touch of mustard
Lean Cuisine had a food truck set up in front of French Connection on West Broadway. Their mushroom raviolis were delicious!
Got one shot in of myself while picking up some stuff in J Crew.
Even though the streets were crowded and we had to wait on a few lines to get into the stores, it really was worth it just to be a part of FNO. It got my mind buzzing with ideas for my own parties; both personal and professional ones. I'm really looking forward to seeing how those play out in my head. I found the music, food, cocktails, sweets, and fashion all to be an inspiration for my next gathering. I imagine that's how chefs, artists and designers feel when they create their masterpieces.
