Traditional tea meets modern flavors in our warming and toasty Mon Frère. It's the first oolong-based tea (and certainly not the last) to join the selective Chambre de Sucre Heritage Tea Collection. We use an elegant Ti Kuan Yin oolong and brighten it with notes of vanilla and roasted hazelnut pieces. It steeps a beautiful, deep golden shade and will warm you through all the chilly winter days. Full-bodied, intoxicating liquor will conjure images of an evening by the fireplace on a rainy day. Watch as the soothing flavors evolve and the leaves gracefully unfurl more and more with every steep. Not surprisingly, this tea is wonderful iced. It is light, bright with a slight floral aroma balanced out by the woodsy hazelnuts.

Inspiration behind this blend:
All our teas are named and numbered after Lisa's family members. This blend was made with her brother, Michael, in mind. He's more of a coffee drinker, but Lisa was determined to get him interested in teas. This oolong is full bodied, complex and bold enough, even for a coffee drinker like Michael (born on November 22nd).
